BONDIX RELEASE NOTES Release Notes Version 1.25.3 Our developers work on our Bondix software incrementally which means that bug fixes, improvements, and even new features are constantly added, producing new release versions every couple of days. On a quarterly basis, we publish a version that combines all changes added since the last version. 🔹 Changelog Bondix Release 1.25.3 for Teltonika RutOS 7.13.3 👍 Improvements Renaming of SANE/S.A.NE to Bondix SANE/S.A.NE/Sane (eg “saneserver”) has been renamed in “Bondix” for copyright reasons. IPv6 This release supports IPv6 traffic inside the Bondix bonding channel. It includes the option to work with masqueraded ULA addresses but also routing of static, public IP subnets. Known limitation: BondingProxy is currently not supported. Prometheus Support The monitoring platform Prometheus ( prometheus.io ) is now supported. New Bondix Client UI Usability of the Bondix client in general and compatibility to the changed Teltonika web GUI have been improved. Auto-Detect LAN interface in Bondix Client In scenarios where the LAN port configuration of a router was massively changed, there was a risk that the Bonding proxy was not able to identify the right interface for optimization. To mitigate this unwanted effect, this release includes an interface detection. Comment Fields for QoS Comments for new or modified QoS rules can now be made, for a better overview of rule purposes. OpenSSL3 The used SSL version has been upgraded to version 3.4.1 for improved security. Enhanced monitoring Monitoring of buffer size is now available. Diverse Improvements - Detection of “stucked packets” when a tunnel is disconnected has been stopped. - Server start when many environments are in use was improved. 🕷️ Bug fixes Channels with a latency of 0ms are not any longer considered to be useable. Safeguards and coping mechanisms for hanging IP flows have been enhanced. The detection of excessive retransmissions has been improved. A tunnel will no longer be restarted with "Sender flow stuck (timeout)" right after connect in specific configurations. Prometheus metric authentication now accepts the specified credentials. "Package Installation Failed" message with Teltonika packages no longer occurs. The package also now shows up correctly in the Package Manager and can be uninstalled there. On clients, tunnel names with a blank are now able to connect. The “Disconnect all Tunnel” button in the environment now works flawlessly. Environments can now be deleted. - Bondix® WAN Bonding | Bondix by SIMA
WAN Bonding describes just what we do at Bondix by SIMA: We help you get the most out of your existing infrastructure by smartly combining the WAN links you already have. Bondix WAN Bonding Reliable business internet, made simple. Bondix by SIMA keeps your company online by using more than one internet connection at the same time. If one line slows down or fails, your apps keep running and your calls don’t drop. And when you need more speed, Bondix can add up the bandwidth of your lines for faster uploads and downloads. Works with any mix of connections: fiber, DSL, cable, 4G/5G, Wi‑Fi as WAN, or satellite. What Bondix does (in plain terms) Always‑On Failover If one connection breaks, Bondix automatically switches to another. Ongoing calls, video meetings and file transfers continue without interruption. Smart Load Sharing Bondix spreads your traffic across available connections so your network stays responsive—even when many people are working at once. Bandwidth Aggregation ("Bonding") Need more speed than a single line can deliver? Bondix can combine the bandwidth of multiple connections so even a single download or video call can benefit from the total speed. How it works Bondix Client runs on a compatible router at your site (office, vehicle, store, or remote location) and fragments your traffic before sending it via multiple connections from multiple carriers. Bondix Server —in the cloud or your data center—reassembles the traffic into one reliable stream. Together they create a virtual, optionally encrypted tunnel that uses all available connections. If a line slows or fails, traffic is moved seamlessly to the others. No specialist knowledge required—install the software, connect your internet connections, and you’re set. More detailed explanation: 1) 📍 Remote Location & Client Software It all starts at your remote site. The Bondix Client Software, typically running on a compatible router, actively manages and monitors various available internet connections. 2) 📡 Bonding Multiple Carriers: Our software aggregates bandwidth from diverse sources simultaneously: - Satellite - LTE/4G - 5G - WiFi WAN (connecting to another WiFi network as an internet source) - Wired Ethernet 3) ☁️ Bondix Server The traffic from these multiple carriers is intelligently routed to our central Bondix Server (which can be configured with primary and secondary units for redundancy). This server reassembles the data packets, optimizes traffic flow, and manages the bonded connection. 4) 🛡️ Bonded Connections & Internet Access The Bondix Server then delivers a single, cohesive, and significantly more reliable internet stream. You have options for how this connection is established: - Direct Bonded Connection - for maximum throughput. - Encrypted Tunnel - for enhanced security, creating a secure pathway for your data to the internet. (The diagram also shows an optional path for an "Existing VPN" (5) which can operate independently if needed). 6) 🌐 Remote Management: Easily monitor and manage your bonded network connections from a centralized interface, ensuring optimal performance and quick troubleshooting. Why businesses choose Bondix Increased Bandwidth Combine the speeds of all connected carriers for faster uploads and downloads. Unmatched Reliability Automatic failover ensures your connection stays live even if one or more links drop. Connection Resilience Smooths out performance fluctuations from individual unstable links. Enhanced Security Option for end-to-end encryption through the Bondix tunnel. Carrier Agnostic Use any combination of internet providers and technologies Simplified Management Centralized control and visibility over your network. What you need A supported router or gateway for the Bondix Client software. Two or more internet connections for redundancy or higher speed (any mix: fiber/DSL/cable, 4G/5G, Wi‑Fi as WAN, satellite). A Bondix license and access to a Bondix Server (ours in the cloud or yours). Where Bondix shines Remote and branch offices Live streaming and media production Field service & mobile command Maritime and transportation Construction sites and pop‑up networks Any location that needs consistent, high‑performance internet Get started Try it Spin up a test and see the difference in minutes. Talk to an expert We’ll size the right setup for your sites. Work with a partner Deploy at scale with certified partners. Bondix by SIMA—software‑enabled peace of mind for your business connectivity.
- About us | Bondix by SIMA
Bondix is an SD-WAN specialist for bonding different WAN links of different network providers together, creating one aggregated connection. This boosts reliability and prevents outages.
